1. In order to ensure basic free movement in accordance with the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, a partnership or marriage between persons of the same sex, citizens of a Member State of the European Economic Area, or persons in which one of the persons is a national of a state outside the European Economic Area, concluded and registered in accordance with the provisions of the Member State in which that relationship was established enjoy the same opportunities for access to rights and privileges which within the European Economic Area for marital relations in the Republic of Croatia. 3. Any form of direct or indirect discrimination based on a life partnership, sexual orientation or gender identity is prohibited. 2. The provisions of a separate law governing family relations relating to the maintenance of spouses apply mutatis mutandis to the maintenance of life partners. Since the written agreement is made under the common law, it provides individual protection to each party with respect to the consequences of ownership. c. If the common house is rented, the contract should provide for what happens after the relationship breaks down: who should leave? The remaining person probably has to pay the rent for the non-outdated part of the lease? Will the owner release the other party if both have signed the lease? 3.
With regard to the rights and obligations that fall within the scope of Article 74, paragraph 1 of this Act, the provisions of paragraph 1 of this article apply to the partnership or marriage of persons of the same sex in a Member State between citizens of a Member State of the European Economic Area, including those in which one of the persons is a national of a state outside the European Economic Area. The agreement provides for the dissolution of the partnership and thus terminates the agreement. 2. Decisions that are important to a child and concern the representation of human rights and the child`s representation in relation to the child`s ownership of certain property and property rights, as well as decisions that could have a significant impact on the child`s life, are made in accordance with the provisions of a separate act governing family relations in this area.
