It’s the second episode, where me and Louise try to cover last week’s jammed packed release schedule. While we mention Death Grips, Nightwish, Action Bronson – We’re focusing on what could be the most important album for Kendrick Lamar. We give you our opinion on the “How to Pimp a Butterfly” album while discuss how the advance release came to and how it’s similar to Earl Sweatshirt’s sophomore album release campaign.

We’ve also been listening to a diverse set of artist in our “what we’ve been listening to lately”-section. Tame Impala, Wolf Alice, Chilly Gonzales and The Go! Team are among this episode’s track list. We also manage to find time to ask why UK rock acts seem to have a difficult time breaking into the US scene.

We close with a listener’s email which leads to a lengthy discussion about leaks, how it affects artists, what Has it Leaked is and how one man, nicknamed Koolo, bought studio session material from high profile acts and leaked them.

Unfortunately, there are some issues regarding the recording quality. We bought new microphones but failed to properly test them before recording which resulted in echo feedback and random noises. I’m sorry about this but we are aware of the problem and are going to replace our set-up as we continue to find a way to produce the best content we can for you guys, not just the technical aspect but the actual podcast content as well.

E-mail your comments or questions, we’ll read all of them and consider them for our next episode. The show’s track list is below but we also have a Spotify playlist which includes the tracks they’ve got available. For more updates, you can follow me on Twitter  – or even better, follow Louise. As always, thanks for listening!
